Born and raised in San Diego, California, Dave Rivas has been a professional actor and voice-over artist for over 25 years. He has performed on camera, behind the microphone, and on stages throughout San Diego, including La Jolla Playhouse, The Comedy Store, San Diego Repertory Theatre, and The Old Globe Theatre.  A talented actor, singer, comedian, and performer, Dave's greatest passion is voice acting. He has lent his voice to television and radio commercials, e-learning, and numerous video games. He has developed a growing fan base as the voice of Joey Drew in Bendy and the Dark Revival and multiple characters in Star Trek Online, most notably Va'Kel Shon, Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise-F.  Beyond voice acting, Dave is an experienced sound editor and designer, creating audio for theatrical productions, special events, and corporate clients. He also teaches acting and voice-over workshops at schools, in groups, and through private instruction.  Dave is also a playwright and created Letters from the Wall / Cartas desde el Muro, inspired by his work with the humanitarian organization Border Angels. Based on real experiences and personal stories, the play was originally performed on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border and has since been presented at schools, special events, and community gatherings.
